In this great satirical video clip, a man takes apart the format of TV news stories by performing his own, generic one. Especially funny if you’re used to BBC news!

I’m sure almost everyone looks longingly back to the days of the Nintendo 64 and the classic GoldenEye game. It provided millions of people with days of entertainment and I’m glad to say I’m one of them. The main problem is that it’s old! Luckily there’s a project to bring GoldenEye back, and it’s named GoldenEye: Source. It’s just like the classic game, but with updated graphics, a few extras and, best of all (in MY opinion), it’s for PC… and totally free!

The 3.1 beta is available as a free download (as a beta for now) as a Half Life 2 mod and it looks great so far. Check out the latest gameplay video below:

What do you think? Personally I can’t wait!

Hopefully the finished product will be released this year but I’m not too sure. If it’s released before 2012 I’ll be pretty happy :)

Move over, Ukulele Boy – there’s a new, five-year-old, kid in town! Mashable reports that this amazing boy – Jonah Rocks – is also self-taught after getting a drum kit from his dad quite recently.
Anyway, here’s the video and, below it, is the actual System of a Down song, Toxicity, for those (like me) who love the song!
EDIT: Jonah Rocks’ dad (I assume) seems to hate people embedding the video and is making sure every “non-official” upload is removed. This is really annoying… However I still think you’ll enjoy listening: click here to see the video.

…and here’s the actual SOAD song, Toxicity (for those who want it :D ).

AZO (azoazotube) seems to be able to do everything: he can juggle, do parkour (with the mandatory cool flips) and skateboard very well.
I’m sure he can do even more and we’ll probably see it in his 2010 showreel!
Until then, here’s the video for (the end of) 2009:

I’m not much of a Call of Duty player, but I must admit that this is a pretty cool kill. Maybe I should pick up a copy of Modern Warfare 2 after all!

Yes, that’s right: The knife went through the top of the tree, deflected twice and went straight in to the other player’s head. I’m not sure if it was intentional though ;-)

Ever wondered how you could incorporate Super Mari Brothers and Tetris, two classic games, in to a very entertaining flash game?

Neither have I, but someone (SwingSwing) has! Enjoy:

The aim of the game is to get Mario through the level by using blocks (from Tetris mode) to get over obstacles.

Controls:

Arrow keys to move

X to jump

Space to switch between tetris and mario

I’m sure a lot of you know who David Blaine is and some of you probably know about him getting the Guinness World Record for ‘oxygen-assisted static apnea’ – a fancy term for breathing pure oxygen for a while and then seeing how long you can hold your breath while submerged in water – in 2008.

In this video, Blaine explains the journey to this world record and what was going on during the record-breaking attempt. Really interesting stuff:

I’m sure there will be many more David Blaine related videos to come, along with lots of other great posts so check back often!

[Thanks TED]

Yep, you heard it right: A video showing five series’ worth of the ‘Lost’ TV show, one of the more complicated shows there are, in just over eight minutes.

Enjoy!

I think I managed to follow that reasonably well. I should probably watch it a few more times if I want it to sink in though. :P

Recently in Britain, there’s been a lot of snow/ice due to low temperatures. While most people decided not to drive (causing us to get mocked by the rest of the world), some tried to risk it. Uh oh:

I can’t help but feel quite sorry for them. At least they’ve provided entertainment to millions!
