Some talented Call of Duty fans decided to make a short tribute film based on the game and this is what they came up with:

It cost them just under $210 despite being in HD with some special effects! There will be a ‘part 2′ and I’ll make sure to post it when it comes out.

The credits for this production can be found here.

If you’ve got any things you think I should post, don’t hesitate to leave a comment with your suggestion (add a # before your name if you don’t want the comment published for everyone else to see).

Christiaan Van Vuuren; a man from Sydney, Australia was diagnosed with Tuberculosis late last year and, just 16 days after being released from hospital (18th of January) he was diagnosed with a more serious strain of TB and put back in quarantine.

To pass the time (55 days and counting!) in this dull hospital room he put together a mock rap video about his experience.

Funny stuff!

Christiaan also has a twitter page for those wanting to follow him on his ‘journey’.

In this great SEAT car advert,  Guinness world record holder Dan Magness shows off his skills with the football. Great guest appearance by Charlotte Lade; the female freestyle world record holder, at the end!

Just for the record: when I say “football” I mean “soccer”!

Thanks to Gawker, I found this amazing time-lapse video of the Milky Way, filmed from an observatory in Hawaii. Aside from all the stars, it’s also quite cool how you can see the rotation of the Earth in this video! Enjoy:

The video was made by Charles Leung.

I really want to go to an observatory now!

There’s not much to say about this totally random video: A bikini-clad woman uses her (glute) strength to crush a watermelon between her thighs. I was hoping to add a pun based on this website (Le Melon) but can’t think of any good ones. Ideas?

I’ll add the best pun/puns from the comments in a few days.

Hey everyone, sorry for the slow posting recently! Posting will resume as normal very soon but, to make up for it, here is a couple of great examples of stop-motion animation:

1. Tony vs. Paul

This is a classic video from three and a half years ago! It may be old (by YouTube standards) but it’s definitely one to watch. In fact, it has an IMDB page!

2. Human Tetris

If you haven’t played Tetris before, then you’ve had a sheltered childhood. This video, using quite a few different people, shows what Tetris would be like if you used people to play as the blocks! The sound effects might get a bit annoying after a while though :P

I was reminiscing about the helicopter game the other day and decided that it definitely deserves to be on this site!

For those that don´t know, the objective is to get the helicopter as far as possible without crashing. Instructions are below.

Click and/or hold the left mouse button to make the helicopter rise and let go to make it fall. Avoid the obstacles!

Well the 2010 Super Bowl is now over with a thrilling 31-17 win from the New Orleans Saints! While we wait for highlights, I thought you might want to see some of the highlights from last year’s Super Bowl (number 43) between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals. Enjoy!

I’m British and have never been a massive fan of American Football, but I must admit that I’m starting to enjoy (and understand) this sport more and more as time goes on. Bring on Super Bowl 45!

An inmate at a US prison decided to try and dye the whites of their eyes. Surprisingly, it worked without any complications!

After that, several more inmates got this ‘tattoo’ done too! See the interviews with those that did it below:

Next time I want my eyes dyed red or black, I know where to go ;)

I’m sure almost everyone looks longingly back to the days of the Nintendo 64 and the classic GoldenEye game. It provided millions of people with days of entertainment and I’m glad to say I’m one of them. The main problem is that it’s old! Luckily there’s a project to bring GoldenEye back, and it’s named GoldenEye: Source. It’s just like the classic game, but with updated graphics, a few extras and, best of all (in MY opinion), it’s for PC… and totally free!

The 3.1 beta is available as a free download (as a beta for now) as a Half Life 2 mod and it looks great so far. Check out the latest gameplay video below:

What do you think? Personally I can’t wait!

Hopefully the finished product will be released this year but I’m not too sure. If it’s released before 2012 I’ll be pretty happy :)
